I saw a gingerbread house kit at Target. And decided to try it with Lexi. Well Stacey, WAY TO GO! I have no idea how you had Kalli help and have it turn out soooo cute! With Lexi's 'help' the walls managed to cave in 4 times and the roof slide off 2 times. I finally figured she was just pushing the gum drops on to hard. But long story short, it doesn't look so great! We started at 7 o'clock and by 9 o'clock mommy wanted to pull her hair out! Grrr.... here's our sad, sad gingerbread house. Why am I posting this failure to the world?....hmmmm
Sad little thing :(
Lexi was proud of it though!
Lexi and Mommy. Mommy looks weird.
Daddy came in and laughed at it. mommy wasn't to happy about that

Your little house is cute! We had trouble with the roof too. I ended up making Kalli leave the table for a few minutes, and I held the dumb thing on with my vice grip fingers until it finally stuck...pain in the butt! :) When Kalli saw yours she said, "Who's that girl by my house?". They're so cute. Anyway, kudos for doing something fun with your kid...I think it looks great!
Love,
Stacey

Ha, kudos to you for even trying that! I going to opt with "no thanks" considering I'd have TWO sets of hands to contend with. Not something that interests me at the moment. Can't wait to see pics from Lexi's dance recital and we'll trade pics in May when Nichole has hers! Now come visit so the poor girls can dance together!
I told Stacey the same thing... you are such a good mom. Maybe I will try to build one with Maddy. When I saw all of your Thanksgiving pics, it made me miss you guys so much. I love your family! Please tell everyone hi for me. Also, if you have Nancy and Luke's address, will you email it to me? I wanted to send them a Christmas card. Your address is still the same, right?
