Lake Powell

Last week we had the chance to go down with some friends to Lake Powell and stay on their house boat. It was such an awesome place! It was my first (and I really doubt my last time) going down there. The kids (all 9 of them) had so much fun playing on the beach and watching movies together! I loved getting to sit on the beach while reading a book. The best thing about having slightly older kids is, I don't have to sit there and watch every. thing. they. do! I took the Hunger Games thinking that it would last me 4-5 days of reading time but I finished it in 2 days (GET IT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT!) and then I just soaked up the sun! Oh and let's not forget the 80 degree whether! I needed that with snow in the forecast for the week!
