Mondays

I have never believed that Mondays are any worse than any other day. Until today. The kids have both been sick since Saturday night. Neither one has slept more than 3 hours a night and never at the same time. Which means I get NO SLEEP!

I am so tired. So I take them to the Dr. today. Lexi has 2 ear infections. Her left ear drum has burst. The right we are trying to keep from following suit. And she has strep throat. No wounder shes so miserable.

The day progresses with crying, no naps and lot of drama. House is a total disaster.Then silence. I'm relishing in it. I don't even care why its quiet. Until this...




Yep, that a toy mop sitting in a toilet full of... well you get the picture. It seems Ty decided to help mop the floor for me. Yum.

I am not sure if I should be more upset that Lexi forgot once again to flush the potty or that Ty was playing in the toilet once again.

So I strip Ty down (because he is covered in it too.) Send him on his way until I get the mess cleaned up, thinking I will through him in the bath after. Once again it gets quiet. *sigh* 'Now what?' is all I can think.

Ty had dumped a glass of punch all the way down his front side (with the majority of it now on the kitchen floor) and escaped into the front yard... basically naked.



Oh the joys of motherhood
