Being Thankful

With all that's going on and people freaking out or jumping with joy right now, I decided to make a list of some of the things I am most thankful for. So now matter your reaction right now, I am sure you can understand everything we in America have and can count so many blessing that it would make your head spin. So here's a few of mine..

I am thankful for my 2 healthy, loving, fun and very active children. The are my greatest joy in this life

I am thankful for my hard working husband and all that he does for us and others all around us.

I am thankful for my parents and my in laws and all the encouragement they give us with raising our kids and all the emotional support they give us. We really couldn't be any more blessed. We have the greatest parents alive.

I am thankful for all my brothers and their spouses. I love hanging out with you all and talking non-stop.

I am thankful for all my beautiful nieces and nephews. They make me so happy every time I see a picture of them.

I am thankful for my house and that through a lot of love and hard work we have made it a home. It's not big or new, but it is the place were we come home to get away from the world and just be a family.

I am thankful for the gospel in my life.

I am thankful for music

I am thankful for wheat thins and coke. But they have to be sun dried tomato and basil wheat thins. I am not thankful for plain ones :o)

I am thankful for all my trivial things... like excessive clothes, toys, TVs, couches and my decked out car with leather and navi. I don't need it but I am sure thankful for it.

I am thankful for my great neighbors

I am thankful for my friends that are always there for me

I am thankful for salsa. Yep, salsa. With and on everything

I am thankful for the store I frequent. Like The Buckle, Children's place, Target and all those beautiful shoe stores.

I am thankful for our founding fathers and the inspiration that was given to them to make this country what it is.

I am thankful for our country and know that God is watching over us. And that He has given me peace and I know everything will be as it should be.

I am thankful that we have elections and that the peoples choice wins. Even though it's not the way I wanted it, I am thankful for the chance we have to vote and make my voice, how ever small, heard. And that through this process we have freedoms.

I give Barack Obama my congrats and hope he makes choices that are good for our whole country. I don't care who you were voting for, the choice has been made and we now have to support and PRAY for our new president. He will need inspiration and we can pray that God will give it to him.

You didn't mention that you're thankful for great (EX) neighbors! :) Good list though. And yes, we need to focus on the blessings we have and what we may or may not have in the future.

I agree with you on the wheat thins. Those ones are the best!! And nice choice of stores. Those are all my favorite (that I am thankful for) also!
