If you know Lexi, you know she is the world's biggest Taylor Swift fan. Every word to every song, she sings it. All day. Every day.
So after weeks of trying to win tickets, Tuesday at 4 p.m. (3 hours before the concert), I decided to buy some for her. I posted an ad on KSL and said I wanted lower bowl tickets. And got excellent seats!
I know I shouldn't have spent the money, but on Tuesday next week, she is going in for surgery. So I thought, why not live a little, right? While she is recovering she can listen to the music and remember that she got to see Taylor. Like I mean SEE her.
Yep, that's her! She came down our section during 'Tim McGraw' and we got to see her up close! Lexi was so happy she cried! If you ask her, she would say she was crying because someone crushed her foot, but that's just details!
It was a great concert and I am so glad I got to take my little Lou Bug to something so special to her and see her little face light up. I love listening to her sing all the song and while I loved the concert too, I am glad I got to share that with her! I love you, Lou!
My favorite part of the concert was when she sang 'Change'. If you haven't heard this song you should buy it. She talked about how this is America. And we can change the way things are right now. Not the government but US. We have the power to 'Change' things we don't like. It was great! I loved the song and the video she had with American hero's in it and seeing our beautiful country.
I may just become a Taylor groupie now! So if I disappear, that's were I am!

that's sweet! it's things like this that I look forward to having a daughter. I would take the girls now but it's hard because of how little we have them and how far away they live.
That is so awesome! You are such a cute Mom!
So I feel so lame...but I hope you got your American flag quilt on your door step this morning. I couldn't find your address anywhere, and I was determimened to get it to you on this trip since I had brought it up three times before. I finally found two James Wells on the internet, but no phone number. I found your house, but wasn't really sure that it was you. I knocked three times and tried the doorbell once, and then decided to just leave it for you. I went to your neighbors to confirm that it was in fact your house, so I really hope you found it! I couldn't even track down a number to call. Shelly gave me your parents, but I think it went straight to a fax machine. So...long story, but I hope that you enjoy it!
Wait! What is surgery all about?
What's the surgery thing? And yes, live it up! Love you guys.
