Playing catch up...

I have so MUCH to blog about. I'm going to try and get it all done here and now, so settle in for a lot of pics!

1st of all, Lexi started KINDERGARTEN!!! (Here they did 1 full day of school, followed by 4 days of testing, where she only went to school for 30 minutes. So her first full week of school is this week =) Did you follow that?) She was so excited she came into my room FULLY dressed and ready to go at 6:15 a.m. She wasn't to happy about having to wait another 2 hours to go!

So we left the house (she wanted to walk, of course) and we were about half way there when she started getting really nervous. She got a bad tummy ache and wanted me to carry her the rest of the way there. But once we got into the class room and she found her desk she turned to me and said 'You can go now Mom. I'm good'!!! I was so proud of her. She did great and the testing went well. We are ready for the everyday school to start!

This is just a picture that I thought was cool, that I got after dropping Lexi off at school. I love it! And by the way, he is shooting the birds that were flying over my head!! He is all boy and I LOVE it!!

While I am sad that she is leaving me, I am so happy that she loves school and is ready to learn. I also am so happy that I get 6 hours a week of free time now that....

Tyson started preschool!!! (I told you there were tons of updates to do here!) I know he seems so young to be going (He turns 3 in September, but he really needs some socializing time. He knows the preschool teacher already and his best friend Ryan is going, so rather than have the fight next year, he is doing 3 years of preschool!)

The 1st day was better than the 2nd day but his teacher reassures me he will be fine, as she pushes me out the door. She is so great =)

Next, MATT AND DONNA are here visiting! I got to have them stay here for 3 nights and I absolutely LOVED it. I miss Matt so bad! He was one of my very best friends all growing up. He used to stay up late waiting for me to get home, or if he was to tired, he would sleep on my bed so that I had to wake him up and let him know I was home! He is such an amazing, giving person! I love you Matt. Thanks for staying here for a few days.

Then there is DK. Oh my. How I love this girl!! When Matt went to Marine bootcamp she came and lived with us. And I shared a room for the 1st time in my life. I am so glad it was with her. She rocks. We stayed up late every night talking, laughing, watching 10 Things I Hate About You, trying on clothes and eating! She has become one of my best friends and although I don't see her very often, I love her like my own sister.

Gabey, Ty and J Man watching a show.

Matt is SUCH a sucker for girls! Lexi loves him.... and so he lets her paint his toe/finger nails EVERYTIME she sees him.

Fat little Jakey man.... I could eat this kid. If I ever take up cannibalism, he will be my 1st snack =)

My new FAVORITE pictures.... I love all these boys. They are so cute together. To bad it's not often that they all get to play at the same time!

I tried to get some good pictures of all the kids, but who has time when there's so much playing to do. Here's a couple of good shoots.

On the way to the funeral. We stole J for the whole way out. He he.... I love that boy.

While it was such a sad day at Grandpa's funeral, it was such a HUGE joy to have Matt and the family there for the 1st time in 2 years. I am so lucky to have the family I have. I have such happiness from all of them.

My cute Ty

Dallen with the boys....

My wacky sisters..

Luke and the boys.

Lexi loves her cousins. She misses them and can't wait to go see them soon!

Lastly, some pictures of our fun ER visit while in Vernal. After the viewing on Thursday night, Ty hit his head. He stopped breathing, turned blue and passed out. It was horrible. I was so upset and hysterical.... But as you can see, he was fine and just had a head injury, nothing to serious. He's had a headache for a couple of days. He was actually really silly while there and made the Dr.'s laugh. He also made me color a pirate ship for him and when I was done he told me it needed 3 mermaids. How does he know that? Mermaids and pirates go together, I guess...
No makeup thanks to the crying from being so scared for the first few minutes. Hope to never have to see anything like that again.

Happy as can be.

Wow. I did it. I am all caught up. Now it's Mommy Lexi time... with Hannah Montana the movie or High School Musical 3. Dishes can wait. I am so blessed....

That was a really neat post about your grandpa, what an amazing man.
Great posts of the kids starting school. Lexi looks like she is just ready to go! My niece was all anxious for school and then they just did the testing and she was bummed. :) So cute when they first start.
As to coming to this part of the world. We have an open door policy in this house...if you fly here we are happy to have to you here! Our house is smaller than we would like, but it is free. You may take advantage of us at any time!!!

Ugh, just when I thought I was caught up, you go and remind me I stinkin' forgot to blog about the girls first day of school. Thanks! Ugh. It will have to wait though. I could fall asleep sitting up right now.

What?! I didn't hear about Ty going to the ER. Sorry you had to go in Vernal! THey pretty much suck, but I'm glad Ty is okay. Have I mentioned that your kids are absolutely adorable?! Oh my gosh!

Also, this may sound weird, but I love your DK and Matt too! It was sooooo nice to see them. I can't even remember the last time I saw him... I have the coolest family ever!
