I have totally gotten out of the habit of blogging! Life just won't slow down.
Lexi is doing great in kindergarten and even won the 'Peace Builder' award for her school! I got a nice email from her teacher telling me how great Lexi is and that is such a nice, loving person. That's the kind note I like to get from the teacher! She is having some separation anxiety when I drop her off at school (crying and not wanting to go in) but once she is in class, she thrives. She is reading level 1 books now with no help and loves to do simple math.
She is also in the Elites now for her dance (the highest level) and loves it. She is so close to getting her back hand spring! She makes me so nervous when she says she's going to do it by herself... I've told her she can try on the tramp but not on the hard ground. She's a little to daring for me.
She is also playing soccer this fall. She had her second game on Saturday and scored 5 GOALS! She is so good at everything she tries. She constantly amazes me.
Tyson started preschool and hates it =). Really. He cries when I drop him off but his teacher says he eventually gives in and starts playing and having fun. He is such a high maintenance child and constantly gives up on himself, but we are working on ways to overcome that! (Any suggestions on how to help would be GREAT!)
He is so happy when he is at home and is saying the funniest things. The other day he was wearing some PJ's that were way to small for him and he started singing 'fat man in a little shirt'. I don't even know where he learned that from! He makes me laugh and melts my heart at least 3 times a day when does his cute little things. He also carries around a Christmas card from 2 years ago of his cousin Jesse and Gabe. He talks to them and involves them in playtime. It's really funny to see him ask J if he wants to play cars and then see him wait for an reply from an inanimate object!
Jim is still working hard and is also coaching Lexi's soccer team. He says he must be out of shape because standing in the hot sun and running for an hour, makes him tired. No honey, that's just normal!
That's about as updated as we can get here. As for me, I am still the house keeper, cook, laundrywoman, chauffeur and babysitter. My friend Hollie made a post about what her kitchen really looks like and someday I may be brave enough to do the same. As for now, just now imagine that it's dinner time and there's not a clean dish in the house! Yep, that's about right.
Oh and my baby Ty turns 3 on Friday! How scary is that? Pirates will be taking over our house that day, so beware if you come knocking. Picture to come....

Holy cow, she updated!!! :)
Your little Lexi sounds like such a go-getter. She is a cute little thing. Hopefully her anxiety will disappear as the year goes on.
As for Ty, the crying probably just comes with his age. That's how my Meg was anyway. She's 3 1/2 now and doesn't care if I leave her alone at Sunday School and stuff. When she was Ty's (your Ty) age, she would cry too. It's so hard to leave them when they're unhappy. Good luck!
Hope you're all doing well!
Love,
Stacey

Sounds like things are busy at your house. I'm sorry Ty and lex have been having a hard time leaving for school. We have been dealing with the same problem with Corbin. He loves it once he settles down, but I have to have the teacher hold him down crying while I leave. It's awful. Anyway, I started a sticker chart for him, and when he goes without crying he gets to put on a sticker. When he gets 8 stickers he gets to choose an activity. He already earned his first eight and went to fiesta fun. It has really worked for us. I hope something helps you! Good luck!
