Well, we are back from our short trip, and it was so nice! I am so glad I have such a wonderful husband... so I know, you guys are all wondering were we went... It was a short 1 hour flight, any ideas?
It was Reno/Lake Tahoe! 
Jim lived in Tahoe right before he left for his mission, and he has been dying to go back. It is soooo beautiful there!
We did the Emerald bay hike and drove around the whole lake. If you haven't been there, the whole lake is clear. It's average depth is 994 feet and you can see the bottom. It is so pretty!
We found the house Jim lived in almost 10 years ago. It brought back lots of memories for him. 
After much hiking, driving and sight seeing we headed back to Reno and our luxurious hotel. It was by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in. It had the nicest pool, a family fun center that make classic fun center look little, a movie theater and so much shopping! And it was so cheap! 
We played at the arcade after dinner. Then we were sinful and gambled $20. But the good news is we won $90!! We are lucky at the slots. So, yeah, we will repent and pay tithing on it..... 
We got to relax and spend a lot time together and we had a wonderful time! I missed the kids but not as much as I thought I would. I guess I really did need a few days away!
Here is my confusion, right before we left, I let the kids play outside without sunscreen on. It just didn't seem hot, so I let it slide. Well, poor little Ty is the one that suffered! Sad.
But we are back and busy again. Now it's time to take this little girl to tumbling. Have a good weekend! xoxo

owie! poor ty, glad you guys had fun, um yeah, don't ever underestimate mother nature, when it's shady, ya still get burned (that's what I learned!) when it's cold and sunny....you still get burned

How fun! I am so jealous (we never go anywhere). That was very thoughtful of Jim. Good job on the gambling too...does the Church take "sin money" as tithing? :) Glad you had such a good time!

I love Lake Tahoe. I haven't been for a very long time but when I went I loved it. Has your little ones sunburn healed that looks like that hurts.
